Our first team from the eMiC office left on Friday for Haita. They have arrived safely and successfully, without losing people or baggage. They are on the ground running to first get the vision of God's Littlest Angels, develop a concept from the vision, and then draw up the plans.....all done before Sunday, when the team will fly home. Busy, rewarding time in serving others. We will have one day debriefing with them, before our team for Uganda leaves June 5th. Busy time of preparation for us.
I still have a few things to pick up before we go. Along with all our Canada gifts, we've heard that the Director of eMi Uganda is a Flames fan. So....we found a few things for him along with toys and such for his 4 kids. We will be taking lots of lotions (this is truly a need with the elderly I will be serving in home visits). I will also be doing Worship for the children at the Church services in Uganda.

Hi Joan and Patrick,
I just had a chance to read all the postings on your blog...great pictures! It seems like you have been immersed in so many activities already and all along the way developing quality relationships. Soon you will be off to Uganda where undoubtley God will continue to use you in amazing ways! Too bad about the snow but I imagine that by now that's passed too...the Kamloops hills are looking really green right now and by Thursday we're suppposed to be up to 36 degrees...yikes! I've seen Arden driving through our complex a few times and imagine that they are settling in and enjoying their new surroundings. We look forward to hearing about all your works in Uganda,
Blessings to you both, Stefanie and Chris
