Team Building at Stronghold Climbing Gym

On Tuesday, all the eMiC staff and interns participated in a team building excercise. This is in preparation for 3 international trips this June from the Calgary office. Our staff will divide up in order to meet the needs of the Missions Organizations in Haiti, Uganda, and Central Asia......Yes that trip has just got the green light. We are still going to Uganda where I believe God will challenge me greatly.
Here is Patrick putting on his harness to begin.
Here are two of the interns, Rose and Wes, as they hang out of the building. They will be part of the team that gently lowers a stretcher down the wall outside.
Greg, staff architect, with Sara, another intern, as they show the poor victim how much they can be trusted.
That poor victim in the stretcher is me. I said a few prayers at first and soon realized that as I couldn't look down, I really didn't feel any fear. All I could see was straight up, the beautiful sky with lovely, frothy clouds meandering by. Who could be afraid!
